Job summary

The Grounds Guys of Orange Park is seeking a dedicated landscape team member to perform maintenance tasks across lawn care, seasonal clean-ups, and planting projects.

You will operate commercial mowers, edgers, blowers, and hand tools, with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a full-time, year-round role with opportunities for advancement and overtime compensation.

Qualifications

• One year experience in landscape maintenance or related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn maintenance duties such as mowing, weed control, spring/fall clean-up, trimming and pruning.
• Operate a variety of equipment including mowers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws, trimmers and tillers.
• Assist with landscape installations (sod, rocks, mulch, plants) and general site maintenance.
• Support with equipment maintenance and repairs under supervision.

Performs landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, weed control, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning

Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edger's, commercial mowers, blowers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers

Performs landscape activities such as removing shrubs and weeds, installing sod, rocks and plants, mulch application, top soil application

Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader

Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements:

One year experience in this or a related field is required

Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
