Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Landscape Laborer in Washington, DC to maintain property grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, and plantings. The role requires basic upkeep of equipment, and on-the-job training is provided.

A valid driver's license is required, and no formal education is necessary. The position offers a pay rate of $19.00 per hour with a Tuesday–Saturday shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property grounds (mow, trim, edge).
• Ensure proper maintenance of mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems.
• Remove litter and empty trash cans; clean roads and walks for safety.
• Perform basic carpentry and painting tasks as needed.
• Remove ice and snow from walks and lots; apply ice melter and sand.
• Plant and establish new plantings; manage watering systems.
