Responsibilities

• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support proper landscape maintenance and pest management practices

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and grounds to identify maintenance needs or hazards requiring attention

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping and groundskeeping equipment operation
• Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and pruning techniques
• Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools including trimmers and blowers
• Ability to identify plants, pests, weeds, and signs of disease or damage in outdoor environments
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work and equipment use
• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping roles preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
