Job summary

Hughes Exterminators is seeking a full-time Lawn Care Technician to service Lawn and Ornamental customers by diagnosing needs and applying fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. You will manage a route, maintain a company vehicle and equipment, and provide exceptional customer service.

The role requires Florida licensing, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must pass Florida Best Management Practices exam for lawncare and maintain state licensing.
• Pass internal technical exams.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional appearance in Arrow uniform.
• Able to work a 40-hour week.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run your own route and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
• Schedule and keep appointments with customers and assess issues on site.
• Identify insects, weeds, or fungus and determine treatment plan.
• Explain proposed services and answer customer questions.
• Process payments and suggest additional services to customers.
