OVERVIEW

Lawn Technicians perform landscaping maintenance and snow removal duties (where applicable). Responsibilities include mowing lawns, weed control, planting flowers, snow plowing, debris removal, and ensuring communities are well-maintained and presentable. They also provide quality customer service to residents and guests. We also offer full-time maintenance positions!

JOB DUTIES

1. Empty trash, shovel snow, and perform maintenance or repair duties using blowers, mowers, drills, or other hand tools.
2. Maintain lawns by trimming, treating weeds, raking leaves, planting flowers/shrubs, spreading mulch/woodchips/stones, trimming shrubs and hedges, removing damaged tree limbs, and other lawn care tasks.
3. Inspect and repair irrigation systems as needed.
4. Pick up trash and debris from common areas and streets daily; empty trash containers as necessary.
5. Maintain community equipment.
6. Report community maintenance issues to the manager.
7. Ensure the community is presentable at all times, adhering to curb appeal standards.
8. Safely operate vehicles required for job duties.
9. Follow safety procedures at all times.
10. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or some high school education.
• Previous lawn care experience in the resort/hospitality industry preferred.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal temperatures.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient in operating hand tools, power equipment, and machinery.
• Ability to provide clear written reports.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
