Job summary

Emerald Lawns is seeking Application Technicians to service residential and commercial properties, applying lawn-care products and performing soil analysis. You will educate homeowners and offer additional services to grow our client base.

Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a history of safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to residential or commercial properties using hand and powered equipment.
• Apply products to treat lawns and perform soil analysis, pest and disease control.
• Educate homeowners on lawn maintenance and appropriate solutions.
• Upsell additional services to existing and new customers.
• Communicate product/service information clearly and resolve customer concerns onsite.

Our Application Technicians provide service to residential or commercial client properties in a timely, safe manner, using hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat our customers’ lawns. Every day on the job will bring exciting new challenges as you use your specialized skills to perform soil analysis, control insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds. Application Technicians educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, on lawn, and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for their unique needs. They use expert knowledge to sell/upselling additional services to existing and new customers that result in growth of our clientele. Our technicians display strong communication skills when providing customers with product / service information and when resolving customer concerns onsite.

Position wage range: $19 - $20 per hour. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.

Must Have
