Job summary

Kids for the Future in Johnston, IA is hiring a full-time Lawn Maintenance Technician to perform mowing, trimming, edging, and related turf care for our clients.

Requirements include a minimum of two years in professional lawn care and two years in a leadership role, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. You must be able to operate equipment and work alone or with a crew.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional lawn care experience.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Professionally communicate with clients and educate them on turfgrass.
• Operate outdoor maintenance equipment and power tools.
• Work alone or in a team in all weather conditions.
• Input hours in LMN software accurately.
• Maintain crew productivity and accountability.
• Assist with snow removal in winter.
• Follow policies and dress code.
• Refer new team members for employment.
