Job summary

Arbor-Nomics Turf, Inc. is seeking a full-time lawn spray technician in the Atlanta area to maintain turf and ornamentals on homeowner properties.

You will apply fertilizer and weed control and other lawn care treatments such as mosquito and pest control. You will also organize service calls, manage customer relationships, schedule vehicle maintenance, drive company vehicles, and upsell add-on services to clients while developing new customers.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver7s license and have a history of safe driving.
• Ability to pass a re-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
• At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle).
• Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires.
• Friendly and dedicated to great customer service.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
• Encourage a positive team atmosphere and willingness to help others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf, ornamental trees, and shrubs on homeowner properties during visits.
• Apply fertilizer and weed control to clients lawns.
• Apply other lawn care applications such as mosquito, outdoor pest, fire ant control, fungicide treatments.
• Organize production and service calls while maintaining customer relationships.
• Schedule wear-and-tear vehicle maintenance and fill tanks with appropriate chemicals.
• Drive company service vehicles on service routes; sell add-on services and develop new customers.

Day-to-Day Activities

• As an Arbor-Nomics lawn spray technician, you will maintain turf, ornamental trees, and shrubs on homeowner properties.
• During your visits, you will apply fertilizer and weed control to clients’ lawns.
• Additionally, you will apply other lawn care applications such as mosquito, outdoor pest, fire ant control, fungicide treatments and applications for disease and pests on ornamental trees and shrubs.
• Daily tasks include organizing production and service calls while maintaining customer relationships
• You will schedule wear-and-tear vehicle maintenance and are responsible for filling the tanks with appropriate chemicals.
• Additional tasks include driving company service vehicles on service routes and remembering to sell add-on services to existing clients and develop new customers.

What We Offer
