Ground Guys is seeking a Landscaping Team Member in Omaha, NE. You will be the boots on the ground, delivering exceptional lawn care and landscape maintenance for residential and commercial clients.

Ideal candidates have landscaping experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn to drive a truck/trailer. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset, with potential growth into higher-level roles.

Your Responsibilities as a Landscaping Team Member

• Front-Line Employee –
  • You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.
  • The team looks to you to perform basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This may include other lawn care duties when not focused on Landscaping work.
  • You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.
  • You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

How We Measure Success

• Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your supervisory team.
• Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
• Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all of the above possible.

Job Requirements for Landscaping Team Member

In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.

• MUST have prior experience in landscaping, lawn service.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Driving a truck and trailer is a plus however, we are willing to train for this.

Benefits & Pay

• Starting pay will range from $18-19 starting short term (2-3 to show us what you got), then a pay increase.
