Job summary

Weller Brothers in Rochester, MN seeks a Maintenance Foreman to oversee lawn care crews, ensuring high-quality mowing, bed maintenance, and seasonal cleanups. You will lead your crew, monitor productivity, and communicate with clients to educate them on turfgrass needs.

The role requires 2+ years in lawn care and 2+ years in leadership, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Must be able to operate equipment and perform physical work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two-years of professional lawn care experience.
• Minimum of two-years of leadership experience.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day crew tasks including lawn mowing, power raking, landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall cleanups, fall leaf removal, and other lawn and landscape maintenance tasks.
• Oversee your maintenance crew, making sure they are on track and being productive.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner; use knowledge of turfgrass and landscape industry to inform and educate clients.
• Able to use outdoor maintenance and power equipment, variety of hand tools, and legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Willingness to work as part of a team or alone, in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor on a daily basis.
• Assess what needs to be done on the routed sites each day; set goals for your crew each day; hold crew accountable for their productivity.
