Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist in New Jersey to deliver expert turf services and client education. You will diagnose turf conditions, apply treatments, and perform seeding and aeration while maintaining safety and quality. This full-time role emphasizes independence and territory management.

Ideal candidates have Turf/Plant Sciences knowledge, 1–2 years of hands-on lawn care, and a valid license. Outdoor work with equipment operation is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 1-2 years of hands-on lawn care maintenance and turf application experience.
• Ability to operate lawn care equipment and perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the independence to work autonomously.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate effectively with clients.
• A valid Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator’s License—or the ability to obtain one.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

Position Summary

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing these duties, employees may be required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and operate equipment in outdoor conditions.
