The University of North Florida's University Police Department is seeking a Law Enforcement Officer to provide proactive patrols, incident response, and enforcement of campus laws and regulations to keep the campus community safe. This role conducts investigations and supports emergency response operations.

Qualified candidates must meet Florida Statutes requirements with 1+ years sworn law enforcement or investigative experience or an equivalent combination.

• Must meet the requirements of Chapter 943, Florida Statutes and have 1+ years of sworn law enforcement or sworn investigative experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

• Control traffic, manage hazards, and support event safety operations
• Serve as a Tier 1 emergency responder
• Other duties as assigned

General Description / Primary Purpose

The Law Enforcement Officer provides proactive patrol, incident response, and law enforcement services to ensure the safety and security of the campus community. This role enforces laws and University regulations, conducts investigations, and supports emergency response operations.
