Job summary

The University of North Florida Police Department is seeking a Law Enforcement Officer to provide proactive patrol, incident response, and campus safety services. You will enforce laws and university regulations, conduct investigations, and assist with emergency response operations.

You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, investigate activities, enforce traffic and safety rules, assist the public with first aid and escorts, monitor alarms, manage hazards, and serve as a Tier 1 emergency

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements of Chapter 943, Florida Statutes and have 1+ years of sworn law enforcement or sworn investigative experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

General Description / Primary Purpose
