Job summary

Think Consulting seeks a Law Clerk I to support RECA Program claims processing under supervision of a Project Manager. You will review claims, gather records, and apply federal and state rules.

You will develop evidence, review medical and technical materials, conduct legal research using Lexis/Westlaw, and draft decisions and logs. Candidates must be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school or have a law degree, possess strong writing and communication skills, and be a US citizen with ability

Qualifications

• Requires Law degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study or equivalent.
• Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems and legal research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; familiarity with legal research tools.

Responsibilities

• Intake and review of claims for completeness and jurisdiction.
• Gathers records and evidence, communicates with claimants and providers.
• Applies governing laws and program standards to the facts of the claim.
