Job summary

Pérez Law, PC is seeking a motivated 3L Law Clerk or Post-Bar Law Clerk to join our Southern California team. This role offers hands-on experience with active cases and mentorship from experienced attorneys.

For the right candidate, there may be a pathway to an Associate Attorney position after California Bar admission. Responsibilities include research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with case preparation across Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Employment Law matters.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the third year of an accredited law school.
• Strong interest in practicing law in California.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Assist attorneys with case preparation and legal strategy
• Review and analyze medical, employment, and other case records
• Assist with discovery and document review
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Assist with client communications and case management
• Maintain organized and accurate case files
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, case managers, and other members of the legal team
• Perform other legal research and case-related assignments as needed
