Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) invites current law students and recent graduates to join its Nevada Law Clerk Program, offering hands-on litigation experience, mentorship, and exposure to active matters.

Law clerks work with attorneys on research, drafting, discovery, and trial preparation, with in-office and possible remote opportunities, and compensation of 17–30 USD per hour. Flexible scheduling aligned with academic calendars and performance-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled law student or recent ABA‑accredited law school graduate.
• Strong academic credentials with excellent research and writing skills.
• Interest in litigation and gaining hands‑on legal experience.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional legal environment.
• Availability to start ASAP and work through the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Assist attorneys with ongoing litigation across practice areas.
• Support discovery, including document review, organization, and preparation.
• Assist with trial preparation, case strategy, and litigation support projects.
• Review case files, analyze legal issues, and prepare case summaries.
• Attend and observe depositions, hearings, mediations, and attorney conferences when applicable.
• Assist with client and witness preparation under attorney supervision.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff on active matters.
