Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Laundry Worker at Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone, Montana. You will operate large commercial washers and dryers following safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend the machines, including washing and drying linens and towels.
• Sort, count, and store articles from dryers, keeping the laundry closet organized.
• Inspect soiled articles to identify stains and special treatment needs.
• Iron or press napkins, linens, and spa items.
• Record all loads washed and dried to track productivity.
• Assist with linen flow for floors and cottages as needed.

Pay

$18.88 – $18.88 / hour

What will you do?

• Communicate with the Office Coordinator or Laundry Supervisor regarding Housemen needs for linens for the floors and cottage
• Operate and tend the machines, including washing and drying articles such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets, ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives is used as needed
• Sort, count, and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet
• Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
• Iron or press articles, fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, and spa linen using hand irons or pressing machines
• Record all loads washed and dried to calculate productivity, including loss of linens due to stains, tears, and wear

• Ability to work effectively with others in fast-paced environments, using effective communication skills with guests and team members
• Basic math skills
• Laundry worker experience in a hotel or other high-volume location is beneficial
• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the weather and how many machines are in operation at any given time
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and repetitivlely lifting 35lbs during shifts
