Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care setting. You will ensure timely distribution and adherence to safety and infection control policies, while supporting residents and staff with courteous service.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliable communication, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry experience is welcome but not required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks Daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
