Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will support operations by handling laundry processes and ensuring supplies are ready for residents and staff.

Join our team to contribute to a clean, safe environment and positive resident experiences. Prior laundry experience is not required, but a can-do attitude and willingness to follow infection control policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and guests.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.

• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
