Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to support long-term care facilities by keeping linens and garments clean, available, and ready for residents and staff. You will operate laundry machines, follow infection-control policies, and provide friendly, responsive service while maintaining a sanitary environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (preferred), be able to lift 50 pounds, and reside within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
