Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker in Picayune, Mississippi. You will collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing for residents, ensuring availability and cleanliness to support daily operations.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, follow infection control policies, interact positively with residents and staff, and perform routine duties. This role requires a reliable team player who can lift up to 50 pounds and maintain records as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in laundry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow infection control policies and safety procedures.

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
