Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment safely, manage laundry flow, and support residents and staff with courteous service.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, while adhering to infection control procedures and safety policies. Prior experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
