Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment safely and support residents and staff with courteous service.

This role offers on-site work in a supportive team, with hands-on training, and benefits including telemedicine and wellness programs. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required; residency in the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication with building occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Starting from USD $12.48/Hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
