Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility in Kansas. You will support operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing items while upholding safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
