Laundry Tunnel Operator – 1st Shift

Job summary

Corelinen is seeking a frontline production teammate to operate and monitor our tunnel wash system at Oak Creek, WI. The shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and the pay rate starts at $18 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and production needs.

You will help maintain a steady linen flow, load pockets in the tunnel, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while working with experienced maintenance staff. Training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Load balance and monitor linen flow through tunnel wash system.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Communicate issues affecting production standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc.
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Loads linen into empty pockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer.
• Keeps pockets loaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload.
• Follows directions and safety precautions.
• Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
• Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
