Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with commercial laundry equipment or in a similar technical role.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate machinery safely.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor commercial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and pressing equipment to ensure proper functioning and quality output.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to fabric type and cleaning requirements, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry loads, machine maintenance, and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and safe operation of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
• Identify and report any operational issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
