Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution while following infection control practices and safety guidelines. Excellent customer service to residents and staff is expected.

Opportunity to grow within the team, with hands-on training and supportive supervision. The role is based on-site in a facility within our service area, with competitive wages and benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Mansioni

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
