Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a Laundry Attendant to conduct all aspects of laundry activities to ensure a continuous supply of clean linen for hospital needs and to maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, staff and visitors.

No prior laundry experience is required, as training is provided. You will need to work well in a team, follow written and oral instructions, and perform repetitive tasks with endurance.

SUMMARY:

Responsible and accountable for conducting all aspects of Laundry work activities in order to ensure a continuous supply of clean linen for all hospital needs. Responsible and accountable for ensuring a safe, clean, attractive environment for patients, staff and visitors at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Previous laundry experience preferred, however willing to train individual with initiative and desire to learn.

Other: Ability to learn and work quickly with hands using repetitive motion, maintaining a steady pace all day. Must be able to work as a member of a team in a closed environment all day. Ability to understand written and oral instructions. Entry level computer skills required.

Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity with or without correction. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals, etc.
