Job summary

Experience Requirements:

• 1 year experience in a laundry setting

Special Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable about areas of the hospital that require linen service.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for eight hours or longer.
• Must be able to handle wet linens (blankets, sheets etc) and place them into tumblers/dryers.
• Lifting of wet linens after they are washed, removing of dried lines from dryers that may be entangled into other linens.
• Must be able to load and unload dryers and transport fully loaded carts of linen to the floors as required.
• Must be able to lift weight ranging from 20 to 50 lbs.
