Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting.

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder various items, including but not limited to linens, towels, blankets and personal clothing orders.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundered items according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Running the register and giving great customer service.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
• Ensure all laundry is completed in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
• Watch for specific customer requests per order.
