Laundry Specialist - River Grove (Loudon) - EVS

The Laundry Worker is responsible for operating laundry equipment related to the finishing of flatwork and tumble‑dried goods. They clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction and fold, maintain, and provide cleaned linen to operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts from exit.
• Operates flatwork ironer, small piece folders and folds linen following predetermined standards; processes specialty items.
• Responsible for quality control and ensuring linens meet quality expectations designated by specific customers; refers any questions or issues to the lead or supervisor.
• Identifies each linen distribution cart with proper labels and tags; covers all linen carts prior to transport.
• Folds and stores linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assists truck driver to load linen and/or materials on the truck.
• Informs the lead or supervisor on par level or quantity of supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high‑production laundry is preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
