Job summary

Lone Star Park is seeking a Laundry Room Attendant to execute daily laundry activities in a fast-paced environment. You will operate washers and dryers, sort linens, and ensure proper handling of all fabrics according to guidelines.

Responsibilities include ironing and folding, restocking supplies, and distributing laundered items to departments promptly. You may assist with repairs and must follow safety policies while maintaining a clean workspace. Some overtime may be required.

• Pre-sort linens to identify stained or torn items.
• Use appropriate laundry soaps, softeners and products per guidelines.
• Iron and fold linens and store per company standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
• Distribute laundered products to departments in a timely manner.
• Ensure laundry equipment operates properly; report repairs to supervisor.
• Repair torn product and assist with converting tablecloths to aprons as needed.
• Notify supervisor of incidents, hazards or conflicts affecting operations.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work areas; attend to overtime as required.
• Possess ability to obtain and maintain Texas Racing Commission license.

General Definition:The Laundry Room Attendant responsible for the completion of laundry functions in accordance with company policies and proceduresEssential Job Functions:Operates washers and dryers in accordance with recommended capacity and other manufacturer’s guidelines.Pre-sorts linens to locate stained or torn items.Uses laundry soaps, softeners, and other products to properly clean and dry linens in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines or other usage instructions.Irons and folds clean linens in accordance with company standards and stores in appropriate areas.Maintains adequate inventory of supplies, re-stocking as needed.Distributes laundered products to departments as requested by management staff in a timely manner.Ensures laundry equipment, including washers, dryers and irons operate properly.
