Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center seeks a dependable, organized Laundry Room Attendant to join the Warehouse team. You will perform laundry services, ensuring linens are received, stored, inventoried, and distributed to clients, while interacting professionally with clients and teammates.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in food/beverage or hospitality, with required certifications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced arena setting.

Qualifications

• One year of Food & Beverage, Stadium/Arena, Hotel/Hospitality, Club or full-service restaurant experience required.
• Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
• Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, and dry linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Fold, count, and stack linens neatly.
• Collect soiled linens and redistribute clean linens.
• Transport supplies including linens to storage and collection areas.
• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented event-based part-time Laundry Room Attendant to join our Warehouse team. This critical role supports the success of our food and beverage operation by ensuring products, equipment, and supplies are accurately received, stored, inventoried, and distributed throughout the venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laundry services, including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. Also contributing to team efforts and professionally interacting with clients, customers, and team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Properly sorts, washes, and dries linens following the approved laundry procedures.
• Folds, counts, and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Collects soiled linens along redistributes clean linens.
• Transports supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Routinely inspects linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens.
• Maintains the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Stadium/Arena, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club, or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
• Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
• Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to (50) pounds.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout scheduled shifts.
• Safely load, unload, and transport products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Work in various environments, including refrigerated storage areas, loading docks, and event spaces.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and safely maneuver inventory throughout the facility.
