Job summary

Colonial Group in Toledo, OH is seeking a motivated laundry associate to join a fast-paced industrial facility. You will perform setup, handle garments, and ensure quality while following safety and attendance guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing the workstation, loading hangers, dressing shirts and pants, identifying repairs, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong basic math skills for handling counts and measurements.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares their work station.
• Transfers hangers from hanger rack to shirt or pant hanging aid.
• For shirts, dresses shirt on hanger and adjusts sleeves as needed.
• For pants, handles waistband, places on hanger, and positions it properly.
• Identifies merchandise needing repairs and marks items for action.
• Ensures garment is placed on an open conveyor pick.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment and follows production practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
