Job summary

Ridgeview Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing seeks a dedicated Laundry Worker to wash and dry linen and residents' clothes. You will ensure clean linen is returned to storage promptly and clothes are identified and returned to owners.

You will maintain inventory of linens and supplies, report losses and damages, and follow standard laundry procedures. On-the-job training is provided, with supervision, and teamwork with staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous experience preferable but not essential.
• On the job training with supervision.
• Understanding of standard procedures used in laundry services for patients and in caring for clothes, linens, equipment and supplies.
• Interest in learning, ability to cooperate and is willing to work under supervision.
• Must have the ability to work well with coworkers.
