Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Laundry Worker to operate laundering equipment for finishing flatwork and tumble-dried goods, fold and supply clean linen, and maintain work areas to meet customer and client expectations.

The role requires the ability to work in a team, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask while following safety guidelines. Benefits and company support are provided where applicable by location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high production laundry preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in finishing and folding linens.
• Ability to multi-task and follow guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Effective verbal communication and ability to operate related laundry equipment.
• Ability to organize and manage workload and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts.
• Operates flatwork ironer and small piece folders; folds linen per standards.
• Ensures quality control and meets customer quality expectations.
• Labels and tags linen distribution carts for transport.
• Folds and stores linen; assists in loading linen onto trucks.
• Notifies lead or supervisor about par levels or supply quantities.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of work area.
