Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens in a long-term care facility.

You will collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens while operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include adhering to infection control policies, interacting positively with residents and staff, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work around cleaning products and follow safety policies.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests to provide good service.
• All other duties as assigned.
