Qualifications

Description

TheLaundry Attendant is responsible for receiving, cleaning, sorting, organizing, folding, counting, and distributing of linens to housekeepers. Laundry attendants ensure the cleanliness of all linens is maintained by the department.

Essential Functions:

• Placing and organizing linens inappropriate areasfor housekeepers.
• Receiving linen bins and keeping counts.
• Collecting soiled linen bags from housekeepers and reporting if bags are missing.
• Making linen bags when needed.
• Assistinghousekeepers when necessary.
• Operationofwashers,dryers,towelfolder,sortingstation, androllingstation
• Processdirtylinensbroughtinbynextdeliverydate
• Useprotectiveequipmentwhenworkingwithsoiledlinensandpossesstheabilitytolearntheproceduresforprocessingisolationlinens
• Checkandmaintainchemicalinjectionsystemandperformminimalmaintenancewithinthelaundry area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
