Job description

Laundry Attendant

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens by washing, drying, folding, and stocking linens of all types. They also respond to guest requests as needed and support the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Qualifications

• Full availability preferred, Part-Time, and Full Time availability.
• Must be 16 years or older. Students are welcome to apply, and we will work around your class and exam schedule.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Work Environment and Scheduling

• Shifts include 7 am-3 pm, 9 am-5 pm, 12 pm-8 pm.
• Shifts are performed in groups of 1-2 team members.

Compensation

• Experienced Full 5 Days, all shifts, no limitations = $15.00/hr
• Full 5 Days a week availability (all AM and PM), day of week limitations = $14.50/hr
• Full 5 Days a week availability (AM shift only or PM shift only, or same days needed off each week) = $14.00/hr
• 4 days a week availability, no limitations = $13.00/hr
• Less than 4 days a week with limitations = $12.00/hr
• Less than 3 days a week with limitations = $11.00/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all stages of linen processing.
• Collect, transport, sort, weigh, load, and unload (washers, dryers, and chutes), fold, store, and deliver linens.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area.
• Maintain stock levels.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and perform additional laundry services as needed.
