Responsibilities

1. Manually pull dirty laundry from chute area (up to 250 lbs. per hour).
2. Identify and sort various types of dirty laundry, including bed linens and terry.
3. Push carts to scale for weighing and weigh carts (up to 225 lbs. of laundry).
4. Load laundry into washers, record data, and monitor cycles.
5. Unload and sort clean laundry, then push carts to the sorter area.
6. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
7. Assist in maintaining hotel cleanliness as directed by supervisors.
8. Greet guests professionally and courteously.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Sense of urgency in duties.
• Lift and handle heavy laundry (up to 50 lbs.) frequently and quickly.
• Push carts weighing up to 300 lbs.
• Tolerate high temperatures and noise.
• Work well with others and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, able to work any day and shift.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Physical ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, climb, and crouch.
