Job summary

Country Inn & Suites Houghton is seeking a dependable housekeeping laundry attendant to support the housekeeping team by washing, drying, inspecting, and folding linens. You will help keep guest areas clean and ensure supplies flow smoothly.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to multitask, and a cooperative attitude. Weekends may be required; training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within a friendly hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Must be able to work well with others and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Sorts all linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled laundry into washers; adds specified cleaning agents.
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean, dried items.
• Maintains the inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor as to any maintenance needs.
• Follows all company policies including safety policies and procedures.
