Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support guest services by handling soiled and clean linens, operating washers and dryers, and organizing linen flow to ensure efficient hotel operations. The role emphasizes quality service and adherence to brand standards (K.E.E.P.).

You will load/unload laundry, sort linens, pre-treat stains, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace in a fast-paced hotel environment. English language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently.
• Carry heavy loads of linen.
• Understand proper use of washing machines and dryers.
• Work in a wet and humid environment.
• Must speak English.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate washing machines and dryers.
• Load and unload laundry according to standards.
• Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
• Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc. as directed.
• Sort all hotel linen according to item, color, size, etc.
• Store & Stock linens properly according to standards.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Weigh linen hampers as required.
• Organize and prepare reject linen.
• Clean and maintain dryer filter and other equipment as trained.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
