A hospitality management company is seeking a Laundry Attendant for the 6:00 am – 2:30 pm shift in Gainesville, Florida. You'll be responsible for performing laundry duties, assisting housekeeping, and ensuring cleanliness in common areas. Ideal candidates will have housekeeping experience, strong time management skills, and a pleasant demeanor. Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Must maintain a neat, professional, and pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively is essential.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.

• Ability to move, reach corners and low areas; lift up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, dusters.
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

What You Will Do

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of overall resort/hotel cleanliness
• Perform laundry duties—including washing, drying, ironing, and folding all guest room linens as well as restaurant and catering linens
• Keep the laundry area and common areas clean and organized
• Complete daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms
• Understand proper utilization of equipment and chemicals, including knowledge of appropriate safety procedures
• Assist housemen and housekeepers as needed
• Help maintain a safe work environment
• Always respond in a friendly and helpful manner to other team members
