Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support comfort and care in our senior living communities. You will handle laundry tasks, keep the laundry areas clean and sanitary, and assist with resident requests to help maintain a pleasant living environment.

As part of the team you will follow infection control and safety standards, store chemicals safely, and participate in routine trainings and team meetings to ensure high-quality service and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry and redistribute resident clothing and community linens
• Fold, count and properly store clean linens following approved procedures
• Inspect linens for wear and follow processes for damaged items
• Maintain clean, organized and sanitary laundry rooms
• Transport clean and soiled linens to appropriate storage areas
• Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs to supervisor
• Support resident requests and assist with resident care when needed
• Follow infection control, OSHA and Sunrise safety standards
• Safely store chemicals and maintain clear, hazard-free work areas
• Participate in fire drills, in-services and team meetings

Pay Range: 15.00 - 18.75
