Kessler Hotels is hiring a House Laundry Attendant in Richmond Hill, GA. The role involves washing, ironing, folding, and distributing linens, towels, and tablecloths, while maintaining cleanliness and equipment safety.

You will handle loads, pre-treat stains, and ensure timely, accurate processing to support outstanding guest experiences. Requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long periods, and maintain neat appearance and adherence to hotel standards

Qualifications

• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift.
• Regular attendance in line with hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, iron, fold and distribute soiled linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths.
• Operate washing machines and dryers according to procedures.
• Load and unload washes following standards.
• Sort clean and dirty linen by type and color.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Keep dryer filters clean and equipment maintained as trained.
• Operate iron and ensure it is shut off after day.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors and store linens properly.
• Fold towels and linens and sort dirty linens from carts.
• Maintain clean work area and load carts with clean laundry.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Location

Located in Richmond Hill, Georgia, this 200-room dual-branded hotel will feature a Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott inspired by the legacy of Henry Ford, who once owned more than 85,000 acres in Bryan Country and helped shape the Richmond Hill community. The hotel will celebrate the nostalgia of American automobile travel through curated art, artifacts, and vintage vehicles displayed throughout the property, highlighted by a signature 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback located at the entrance. Set to open in late 2026, the hotel is designed to bring Kessler’s signature blend of elevated design, artistic inspiration, and best-in-class Southern hospitality to one of Georgia’s fastest-growing communities.

Overview

The House Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, ironing, folding and distributing all soiled linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths.

Responsibilities

• Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
• Understand operation of washing machines and dryers.
• Load and unload washes according to standards.
• Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
• Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc.
• Pre-treat all stained linen before washing.
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained.
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of day.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor.
• Fold towels and linens.
• Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
• Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Sort clean laundry according to type and load carts.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations

• 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based In California

• 8 paid holidays per year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
• Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
