Job summary

Las Vegas Candlewood Suites in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain linen and cleaning processes on-site. You will operate laundering machines, sort linens, and ensure inventory and equipment maintenance with a focus on efficiency and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Operates and maintains laundry equipment and reports issues.

SUMMARY

Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, and bedding by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sorts all linen and separate and treats allstains
• Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaningagent
• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into dryers for measures timecycles
• Sorts dried articles according totype
• Folds and places items in appropriatelocations
• Handles contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHAstandards
• MaintainstheinventoryofcleaningsuppliesandlinensandensurestheGeneralManagerisawareofany inventoryneeds
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs appropriate personnel of any maintenanceneeds
• All other duties as assigned

• Preferably 6 months - 1+ year of similar experience
• Ability to clean areas as directed by supervisor
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
