Job summary

Daly Seven is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping operations by delivering fresh, clean linens for guest rooms and amenities. You will help maintain a smooth laundry workflow so room attendants always have supplies, and you will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to cleanliness and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, sorting and inspecting linens, and assisting with storage and basic housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry, housekeeping, or commercial washing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and cleaning chemicals.
• Familiarity with brand quality assurance standards and hotel operating procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly navigate stairs.

As aLaundry Attendant atDaly Seven, you are a vital pillar of our housekeeping operations, responsible for delivering fresh, clean, and perfectly folded linens for all guest rooms and amenities. You drive operational success by keeping the laundry workflow moving efficiently so that room attendants always have the supplies they need. What You’ll Do

Support Daily Operations & Supply

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and stack all hotel linens, towels, and bed coverings according to company quality and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate laundry duties to ensure room attendants have a continuous, reliable supply of clean linens throughout the shift.
• Assist in stripping linens from guest rooms during peak operational hours to jumpstart the washing process.
• Inspect linens during processing, immediately discarding or treating stained or damaged items to maintain brand quality.
• Help maintain, organize, and restock linen closets and storage supply areas across the property.

Drive Quality & Inventory Control

• Track daily missing or damaged linens and keep management informed of shortages for monthly inventory reporting and reordering.
• Maintain clean, organized laundry rooms and chemical storage areas, ensuring supply closets remain locked when not in use.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Turn in any lost and found items discovered in linens immediately to management.
• Assist with basic housekeeping or public area cleaning duties as assigned by management.

Ensure Safety & Compliance

• Follow all chemical handling, laundry machinery safety protocols, and health department rules.
• Promptly report machine malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management.
• Adhere strictly to timekeeping rules, clocking out for a mandatory 30-minute lunch break between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM or whenever leaving the property.
• Uphold all Daly Seven policies, procedures, and strict business confidentiality on and off duty.
