Job summary

Hampton Inn Morehead City is seeking a Laundry Attendant to uphold brand standards and ensure guest satisfaction by handling linen and cleaning tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute linens, operate washers/dryers, follow safety procedures, and support housekeeping during staffing shortages. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds and working flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is desirable.

• Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen for laundering.
• Load and unload washers and dryers.
• Maintain equipment as trained.
• Fold, store and distribute towels and linens.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks during staffing shortages.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing department and overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
