Job summary

Weekender Hotels is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain clean, well-kept linens and towels for guest stays. You will operate washers and dryers and help manage inventory to support a smooth housekeeping workflow.

• Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels of clean linens and communicate shortages to management.
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping and collect soiled items on schedule.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Monitor supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Support housekeeping with laundry-related tasks as needed.

What you’ll be responsible for:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing the property’s laundry operations, ensuring clean, well-maintained linens and terry are consistently available for guest use. This role plays a critical part in supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining an adequate supply of high-quality linens and providing a clean, organized, and efficient laundry operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and terry following established SOPs and brand standards.
• Sort and inspect linens for stains, tears, or excessive wear, removing damaged items from circulation.
• Treat stained linens using approved cleaning methods and products.
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of clean linens and communicate shortages to management.
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping and collect soiled linens on a regular schedule.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, stocked, and free of safety hazards.
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns to the appropriate team.
• Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and company policies.
• Support the housekeeping team with laundry-related tasks as needed.

Success Measures

• Completes assigned laundry volume each shift in accordance with company standards.
• Maintains consistent linen quality and availability with no guest-facing shortages.
