Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Laundry Attendant for the Hilton Indianapolis 226 location. The role involves washing, drying, folding and organizing laundry items while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the laundry area.

Requirements include a HS Diploma or equivalent; this is a full-time, day-shift position. The job includes a background check and pays $16 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and add detergent or other cleaning agent.
• Turn valve to fill washer with water.
• Start machine that washes and rinses articles.
• Move clean articles to wringers and driers for timed cycles.
• Sort dried articles by identification number or type.
• Fold and place items in storage bins.
• Iron table linens.
• Lubricate machines as needed.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent.
• Turn valve to fill washer with water.
• Start machine that automatically washes and rinses articles.
• Lift clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into wringers and driers for measured time cycles.
• Sort dried articles according to identification number or type.
• Fold and place item in appropriate storage bin.
• Iron all table linens.
• Lubricate machines, using grease gun and oil can.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned by the leader

Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

This is an hourly position of $16 an hour
